Empowering Emerging Architects at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management & Technology

Headstart is a platform for discourse and knowledge sharing for final year degree and master students in pursuant to their job-hunting process and starting their career in architectural practices.

Under the patronage of KLAF2023 Director Ar. Adj. Prof. Norzaini Mufti and convener Ar. Aida Daud, HEADSTART 7 took place at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) with the mission to empower the next generation of architects. Ar. Ellina Rahman and Ar. Syed Mohd Radhi Syed Sakkaf shared their experience and knowledge as they delved into the intricacies of architectural practice, and breaking down the path to professional success. The event concluded with a panel discussion with Ar. Syed Mohd Radhi Syed Sakkaf and Ar Mohd Aminurasid Gomment.

The session concluded with 15 mins job interview simulations, where the guest panel interviewed students with their portfolios. This aims to provide students with an opportunity to practice their interview skills and receive feedback from industry professionals.
