Brickfields: World Religions in One Whirl

“Designed as a journey through the authentic sites, artifacts, and activities that truly represent the people and stories of Kuala Lumpur’s past and present, ZIARAH KL: Heritage Walk at Brickfields introduced participants to the city’s rich and diverse cultural and historical splendour.

Brickfields is famously known as Kuala Lumpur’s “”Little India”” but offers far beyond just one culture. The locale is also unique for its impressive collection of diverse religious houses of worship all concentrated in one area, making it a veritable melting pot of architecture and religion in one whirl.

Participants journeyed through this incredible neighbourhood, uncovering the architectural nuances and cultural significance of each place of worship. The immersive tour given by Ar. Najib allowed the participants to truly engage with Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant past, present, and the stories that have shaped this magnificent city.
